Gasket plate design:

By means of technological innovation Sondex has developed
and designed a new generation of plate heat exchangers.
With the big range of plate heat exchangers Sondex has got
the optimal technical solution for any possible task, with connection sizes from Ø15 to Ø500 mm covering a liquid flow of 50l/hour to 2000 m³/hour.

The construction of the inlet part makes a perfect distribution of the
liquids across the heating surface. The inlet part is increased and designed with channels preventing "dead spots" on the plates. The inlet with channels secures a strong inlet part with a minimum of contact points.

A gasket plate heat exchanger consists of a number of pressed metal plates
each with a rubber gasket. The gaskets are arranged in such a way to
allow two fluids to pass in opposite directions up and down alternate channels.

The design of the exchanger enables it to be easily dismantled for
cleaning or addition of plates.
